“We all have the ability to be creative.”
I know that is a very broad quote, but it is true. All of us have different kinds of creativity flowing through us. The difference in the ones that manifest more is that they take the time to notice the world around them and take it all in. Every part of it, not just their daily routine, but every part of what is going on around them.
Driving down the street do you notice the way the wind is blowing the trees, or how many birds actually fly past you? Can you hear the sounds of life that is reverberating from every where and also the sounds that nature makes in the different seasons?
It is this different type of tuning that sets obvious creative people apart from those who don’t realize they are. You cannot be forced into slowing down and noticing what goes on around you, you have to train yourself to do this. Then, from what you soak in your creativity starts to come alive because you want to express what you are feeling wither through writing, painting, music, dance, drawing, etc.
Some people even choose to capture the world around them so that others can see what they are seeing. Which is why when we see photos that WOW us because of the fact they were able to capture it and it is something we don’t see very often, because we close our eyes to it, but it is their all the time right in front of you. They see it all the time, and they want to share it with others through photography.
Next time you wake up, instead of your normal routine, take a minute to look out the window and record what you see. That is how a writer starts. The more you see it, the more you want to see it, then eventually you will go looking for things to broaden your creativity.
Be creative, it is in all of us, because the Master Creator is in all of us.
